Marsh Morning

Maybe I should have called this: Try something new Monday?
I used acrylic which isn't my normal medium. Most of the time I paint in oil. I wanted to see what I could do with acrylic and loved that it dried so fast.
With this painting I wanted to show the crisp morning air rising over the marsh. The colors I used show the soft light and atmosphere at this time of day.
I think you did beautifully with the acrylics! Nice, loose handling! The fact that they dry so fast is the very reason I love them...

This experimenting with other mediums has been fun! But think it is time to get back to oils.
