Thunder Bird

Ok, why the title?  When I took the photo and turned it to black-and-white, a Thunderbird appeared in the sky!  What could I do?  I had to give this Spirit credit.

What did I learn today?  This is the second painting for this panel!  I have had trouble in the past, seeing that I needed to scrape a painting.   Instead of being afraid to scrape and begin again, doing it was freeing!  Not everything will work and not every painting is a keeper.

  4. Yes! What a great reminder not to let a painting get too precious! If your instincts tell you it's not working - go at it again. Good lesson, thanks! Well this one works! There's a lot of passion coming across!
